What a deep sentence and phrase. Earth is temporary. It’s true and one a lot of people doesn’t want to think about.

My pastor talked about facing giants in our lives and chose this week to feature Abraham. His wife Sarai, later changed to Sarah, was childless until she was 87 years old. Wow! God uses absurd and seemingly impossible circumstances to show His power and awesome greatness. When searching for the land God called Abraham and his family to settle in, he looked for a temporary home.

You see, life on Earth and everything around us will be gone. Heaven is our home. Heaven is the home He has called us to be in. We’re just passing through on Earth.

In the end, it doesn’t matter how many clothes, cars, or the amount the followers you have because we should focus solely on Him and not worry about change.

It won’t be easy which is why we have God to rest on. Once faith is put towards Him, anything is possible because He can do the impossible. He alone.

Earth is not home, Heaven is. Nothing on this Earth should have more importance than on God. Everything will be gone and none of that will matter. Earth is just a test before His coming. Live every day as if it’s your last and set your thoughts on Heavenly things.
