As we go about our day and years, our motivation for living and existing can get blind sighted.
Is your motivation on pleasing God or making people happy?
Both can make someone happy and can easily be confused. Trust me. You may go about your day realizing that you’re not happy. That void is God. Without giving Him praise, your life feels incomplete. Money, love, things. All of these are material and earthly. They result in only temporary happiness.
Our motivation drives us and creates a strong will and desire in our hearts. An unhealthy motivation can turn into bad decisions and feelings of loneliness as well as stress.
Build an armor of God so thick that nothing can pierce you or tear you away from Him! Let that be your motivation. Have someone you can talk to and friends you can count on to hold you accountable! Be motivated to continue growing a stronger relationship with Christ.
Now, this doesn’t stop on the spiritual level. It trickles into our emotional, physical, and psychological state as well! Don’t stop and keep going! Always be the best character and person you can be!
Galations 1:10
“Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.”
