I’m a full-time, first-year teacher and a full-time grad student. Some days are better than others. There was a month where I was ahead of my studies and had less work meetings during planning period- allowing me to literally have a work-home separation. This is my average day this month:

6:15 am- Get up and begin my morning routine

8 am- Arrive at school, make copies, prep for students and classes, teach, and lunch

4:30 pm- Drive home after cleaning classroom or meetings- either listen to music or a teaching podcast

5 pm- Shower and eat dinner

6 pm- Begin grad work readings, discussions, and papers

8 pm- Do any teaching work such as prepping or grading

9 pm- Relax and watch a show

10 pm- Bed
